Known for taking on challenging work including gas and steam turbine machining, heat treatments, pressure testing and specialist coatings, no task is too big or too small.

 

What they do:

PT Engineers produces work for many Industry sectors and is particularly favoured with gas and steam turbine parts manufacture, case manufacture, precision engineering, valve components, shafts and rotors up to 5 metres in length, machining of castings and fabrications. Jobs from small to large using both CNC and manual machining. The more unusual and interesting projects are posted from time to time on their website.

 

 

What type of project is this for Redthorn:

The PT Engineers implementation has a slightly different approach to a normal project. Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic Redthorn are adhering to government guidelines and working remotely. A normal project would consist of a consultant attending site to oversee and manage training and implementation, we feel the face to face interaction provides the best results for the customer so they are not distracted to greatly from the day to day running of the business and it relieves that added pressure to making implementation a success.
 
As face to face training is currently not an option we have adapted to the current situation and started to provide online training seminars. In addition to this we have started creating training videos to assist us further. With the correct planning and preparation we feel the standard of training will increase as the user will be able to refer to the training videos when a refresh is required.
