What makes Resource Scheduler so good?
Lists All Live Jobs
Displays what times the jobs and operations are loaded onto the machine centre.
Gantt Chart View
By either job number or by machine centre.
Filter Functionality
Allow users full control over what jobs they are viewing.
Interactive Interface
Allowing users to change factors such as priorities, promise dates and machine centre to instantly see the effects on the job schedule.
Just in Time (JIT) and As Soon As Possible (ASAP)
This level of control allows users to reduce their total number of late jobs by pushing all on time jobs out to their required dates, freeing up valuable capacity for current work.
Concurrent Operations
The Resource Scheduler will calculate the maximum overlap of the two operations from the runtimes of each operation and schedule accordingly.
Machine Centre Calendars
Ability to assign specific Machine Centres their own hours of operation. This allows for the possibility of machines that work 24/7 or double/triple shifts.
Infinite Scheduling
This gives the benefit of visibility of resources which are overloaded and also by how many hours which allows the user to react correctly in order to get the jobs done on time.
Capacity Planning
Capacity can be analysed using a suite of both graphical and quantitative reports that show hours available or overloaded for each machine centre and machine group. These can be used to react to overloaded machines and plan overtime or to find out where capacity exists.
View Only Gantt Charts
User permissions can be set to allow an employee to view a saved schedule using the Gantt software whilst not being able to make changes to factors such as job promise date, priories, scheduling strategies etc.
Work to List
This report displays all scheduling information for all operations grouped by Machine Centre. This information can be filtered for a specific plan number, machine centre range and start date from/to range.
Trial Kits
Ability to schedule prospective jobs around the existing scheduling to see when delivery dates can be met. This can enable users to inform customers and renegotiate delivery dates if proposed dates cannot be met.
